Datel Services Ltd has been named Family Business of the Year at the Somerset Business Awards 2026. The award recognises Datel’s family values, long-standing commitment to Somerset, and continued growth as a trusted connectivity partner across the UK and Europe.

Datel Group announces the launch of a new Group Structure, introducing five specialist divisions; Datel London, North, Central, Active, and Global, alongside new branding, a fresh website, and major system investments. With large-scale projects underway and forecasted growth, the Group marks a new era in delivering expert network and infrastructure solutions.

Datel Group has officially opened the Ellis Suite, a dedicated space within the new headquarters created in memory of much missed engineer, Ellis. Designed for staff downtime, team building, and client meetings, the suite includes breakout areas, a pool table, and a darts board. It’s a space that reflects Ellis’s personality and the team spirit he brought to the business.

The Datel Group came together on 27th June 2025 for a company BBQ celebrating growth, the opening of a new head office, and the upcoming launch of our Group structure. Most importantly, it was a thank-you to our amazing team.

Datel Group has officially achieved ISO 27001 certification, demonstrating a strong commitment to information security and best practice across the business. Building on this success, the team is now working towards ISO 9001 certification to further enhance quality and continuous improvement.

Members of the Datel Group team successfully completed the Pedal, Paddle, Peak Challenge 2025, raising over £44,000 for Marie Curie. This incredible achievement was made possible by the dedication of our team and the generous support of donors.
